SUPERLEGGERO 2022

This is our top of the range mast. Its performance is so dramatically higher if compared to the other masts that we expect that Superleggero will have a long-lasting impact on the windsurfing world. It is a total revision of its predecessor we introduce ed into the market 5 years ago. Reflex and reactivity have been the primary goals in re-designing its shape.  It uses a 100% high module carbon fiber that we have   impregnated with a special resin formula to make it also more resistant to compression, traction and torsion. The result is a mast way more reactive with a 30% more resistance if compared to a t800 typical carbon fiber. The added plus is that the mast is incredibly light. In the higher sizes (400-430-460) normally used on bigger sail sizes or in foil when the wind is relatively less, the Superleggero makes a huge difference with strong acceleration and consequently anticipated planing. In the smallest size ( 340-370) the added value is a superlight mast  that can be beneficial to lighter sailors or anyone who wants to keep her/his rig at a minimum in terms of weight and keep the performances at the top. Superleggero is slightly thinner compared to a traditional RDM shape from the center up to the top which make the sail “breathing” more in search of any gust of wind while the increased reflex allows the sail profile to regain quickly its original shape.

The Superleggero is one of the lightest mast on the market, possibly the most performing in term of reflex. It can withstand endless one-hand backloops: carbon technology is applied at its pinnacle. It is a no compromise mast designed for wave , freestyle and foil. All that technology on the other hand  needs to be kept and used with care : pay attention (with it) both during transport and when you use it: avoid impact with rocks  or any fall on ( to ) hard surfaces which can produce tiny cracks or even breakages  later on (stages. ).
